Two weeks with the same coaches & players who run the Mundelein varsity program.
Every session combines teaching, drills, competitions, and game play to help athletes improve their skills, build confidence, and grow their love for the game in a positive, energetic environment.
Basketball concepts are introduced through drill demonstration, then repped live under pressure by the campers themselves.
Kids are separated by skill level, not age, allowing for ideal development environments for all. No kid gets lost in a crowd. No kid gets bored.
Six campers per coach, max. Every athlete gets real reps, real feedback, and real eyes on them.
All three weeks of Jr. Mustangs Feeder Camp are officially wrapped. We're grateful for every family that joined us this summer — it was a great one.
More opportunities are on the way. Clinics, long weekend camps, and winter break camps will be offered throughout the year. Keep an eye on this page and follow us on social to be the first to know.
See you on the court this fall.
Clinics · Long Weekend Camps · Winter Break Camps — coming soon.
Every day at Jr. Mustangs Feeder Camp is structured around a core basketball principle — Passing, Defense & Rebounding, Shooting, Ball Handling, and Team Competition. Predictable structure, varied content, & lots of repetitions.
Dynamic stretch, partner ball-handling, and a quick coaches' theme of the day.
Instructors demonstrate drill #1. Kids practice drill #1. Upon conclusion, camp gets together to discuss who performed well & why.
Instructors demonstrate drill #2. Kids practice drill #2. Upon conclusion, camp gets together to discuss who performed well & why.
Real team competition, real refs. Concept of the day can be applied in scrimmages for extra points.
Daily "Mustang Moment" & prize collection to end the day
Run by the actual MHS varsity coaching staff. Hosted in Mundelein's main varsity gym.
Six campers per coach. Real reps, real feedback, no kid hiding in the back.
The same players & coaches who run the Mundelein high school program coach every camp session.
Help athletes develop strong habits, improve their skills, and grow their love for the game — in a competitive and supportive environment that treats every camper like a future Mustang.

Not at all. About a third of our 3rd–5th grade campers have never played organized basketball. Stations are scaled to age and skill so first-timers and travel-team kids both get challenged.
Indoor basketball shoes (non-marking), a refillable water bottle, athletic clothes, and a basketball if they have one (loaners available)
Drop off at the MHS Front Entrance (Door 1) — 10 minutes before camp start. Pick up at the same door. Coaches stay 15 min after dismissal. Late pick-up after that is $10 per 15 minutes (we keep them safe).
Yes! Each additional sibling gets $25 off per week, automatically.
Full refund up to 14 days before your week starts. 50% refund 7–13 days out. Within 7 days, we transfer your spot to a future week or offer a credit toward next summer.
On a case by case basis, yes. Email mundeleinboysbasketball@gmail.com with the subject "Camp Aid." We will never turned a Mundelein family away over money.
Camp runs rain or shine — we're indoors. If your camper is sick, email us before drop-off and we'll move that day to another week (subject to availability).
Camp doesn't replace tryouts — but every camper gets a free tryout invite for our fall travel program. Coaches use camp to start identifying players for the A and B teams.
